The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occasions over the period of the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-96-G-6330 with EDO Corporation, 14-04 111th Street, College Point, NY 11356-1434. Orders will be issued for inspection, repair/refurbishment and testing of unique configurations of the AN/SQR-18A/18A(V) Sonar Systems. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). EDO is the sole producer of these unique configurations of the AN/SQR-18A/18A(V) Sonar Systems and is the only company with the knowledge, experience, tooling and equipment necessary to perform the tasks described. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
