Accounts Maintenance and Tracking Services: requires the continuation of contract support for accounts maintenance. The contractor will provide services in the following work areas: 1) processing of obligations, reimbursements and payments against allotments established for the various Civil Division Accounts; 2) assuring obligations, reimbursements and payments comply with all laws and regulations governing financial operations and reporting set by General Accounting Office (GAO), the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and the Departments of Treasury and Justice; 3) producing routine reports on the status of spending for the various Civil Division accounts; 4) creating the necessary controls to assure that funds are used only for authorized purposes and that obligations and expenditures do not exceed authorized amounts; 5) coordinating payroll and travel activities; 6) using the Department of Justice's Focus-based Financial Management System to enter financial data and generate routine and ad hoc reports; and 7) permitting periodic reconciliation between Department and Division accounting records. The contractor shall provide all personnel and supervision to perform all functions under a single contract. The contract will provide four (4) additional option years.
