The work to be performed consists of the demolition/removal of 16 underground fuel, storage tanks (UST's) and 16 above ground fuel storage tanks (AST's) at the GSA Federal Supply Center, Belle Mead, New Jersey. Included in the work is not only the actual demolition/removal of the tanks, but also the registration of the tanks, preparation of a UST closure plan application, and preparation of a closure report. All work shall be conducted in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The contractor shall be licensed and certified in the state of New Jersey for UST/AST removal. Solicitations will be issued on or about March 6, 1996. The bid opening date will be on or about April 9, 1996. Cost of plans and specifications: Full Size Drawings - $27.00 per set and Half Size Drawings - $22.00 per set (NON-REFUNDABLE).
