The INS intends to issue an Invitation for Bids for a requirement for 20 types of ammunition, including but not limited to: .40 S&W 155 GR. JHP (approx. 15 million rounds), .357 MAGNUM 110 GR JHP (9.5 million rounds) and .223 REMINGTON 55 GR FULL JACKET (5 million rounds). An Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract is anticipated. The contract ordering period will consist of a base year and two one-year option periods. In addition, one line item will have an option for increased quantities. Delivery will be required FOB destination to various locations throughout the United States, Guam and Puerto Rico. Bid samples for each item will be tested after bid opening to determine responsiveness. The bid opening date shown above is estimated only (see solicitation for exact date).
