The United States Navy is interested in testing and evaluating new full face masks for use with SCUBA and Surface Supplied Diving Systems. Ideally, full face masks should be equipped with an oro-nasal mask, although use of a standard mouthpiece may be considered. Regulators will be tested in cold and warm water. Candidate full face masks should be capable of using various commercial underwater communications equipment. All costs for testing will be paid by the Navy. Masks should be supplied free of charge for testing. Upon completion of testing all masks will be returned to the vendor. (054)
