The United States Navy is interested in testing and evaluating new band masks for use as a replacement for the MK1 Band Mask. Candidate band masks should be equipped with low volume oro-nasal masks and a hard shell. Masks should be capable of being used in cold and warm water. Candidate band masks should be capable of using various commercial underwater communications equipment. All costs for testing will be paid by the Navy. Masks should be supplied free of charge of testing. Upon completion of testing all masks will be returned to the vendor. (054)
