The Central Arizona Water Conservation District (CAWCD), Phoenix, Arizona is soliciting qualification summaries from SCADA suppliers for the purpose of providing and installing software and all hardware for a redundant computer-based master station and associated computer peripheral equipment for monitoring and control of remote facilities on the Central Arizona Project (CAP) canal. Selection of the SCADA supplier will be by a two-step process. Step 1 is pre-qualification and Step 2 is a technical evaluation of priced proposals. Only pre-qualified firms may submit priced proposals. Technical questions and the associated SCADA system description are published in the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to be issued March 22, 1996.
