415/329-4171, FAX 415/329-5517. The U.S. Geological Survey has a
requirement for drilling services at Camp Navajo National Guard Depot
in Flagstaff Arizona. Approximately 500 holes, each at depths ranging
from a minimum of 8 feet to a maximum of 30 feet. The holes are to be
nominal 4'' diameter with no casing. Holes will be drilled along 3
lines, each with a maximum distance of 3 km. Holes will be
approximately 40 feet apart along these lines. Each hole will be
drilled through top soil and into a minimum of 2 feet of underlying
limestone or basalt base rock. All drill points will be marked by
flagged stake and/or marking paint. The total estimated drilling feet
is 5500. The holes are required for a seismic reflection study.
Drilling is expected to start April 15, 1996 and shall be completed
