Contractor Operation and Maintenance of Simulators (COMS) and Contractor Maintenance and Support (CMS) services to be performed at MCAS Tustin, CA; MCAS New River, NC; and MCB Hawaii Kaneohe Bay, HI. The COMS services are in support of CH-46 and CH-53 training devices to include 2F121, 2F171, 2F172, 2F173 and 2F174 devices. The CMS services are in support of CH-46 and CH-53 In-Service Engineering Office (ISEO) equipment at MCAS Tustin and MCAS New River. This is a new requirement and not a follow-on to an existing contract. A Firm Fixed Price contract will awarded subsequent to Full and Open Competition. The solicitation will be issued approximately 22 Mar 96. Award will be for Lot I (1 Aug - 30 Sep 96) and Lot II (1 Oct 96 - 30 Sep 97). Three 1-year COMS/CMS options, one 8-month COMS/CMS option, and one 2-month transition option (to include COMS/CMS) will be available for exercise by the Government. A Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit is scheduled for 1300 (PDT), 9 Apr 96 at Bldg 30, MCAS Tustin; forward Visit Requests to Mr. George Bush at facsimile (714) 726-2981. A Site Visit is scheduled for 1300 (EDT), 11 Apr 96 at Bldg 318, MCAS New River; no visit requests required. Security clearances are not required for either site. No Site Visit is scheduled for MCB Hawaii.
