The EPA is seeking a responsible contractor to provide maintenance and repair service of its Hewlett Packard Laboratory equipment which includes 5 GC/MS Model 5971As, 1 GC/MS Model 5972A, 1 GC/MS 5972, 3 GC Model 5890As, 2 GC Model 5890A Series IIs, 1 HPLC 1050, 1 GC-G1530A-6890, 1 UNIX (ChemServer) plus applicable software support. Offerors must demonstrate (1) a minimum of one year experience in repair and maintenance of this equipment, (2) timely accessibility of spare parts for this equipment, (3) the means for providing voice and modem telephone line communications between the contractor's faiclity and the lab computers, (4) the ability to install or update software for this equipment, and (5) the ability to respond to a request for remedial maintenance by the next working day after the day a service request is received by the contractor. The equipment is located at 2890 Woodbridge Ave., Edison NJ. The EPA anticipates the award of a firm fixed price contract with a one year base period and one option year.
