AFCEA OUTSOURCING/PRIVATIZATION SYMPOSIUM On March 21, 1996, AFCEA International presents a symposium on outsourcing/privatization in the Hayes Auditorium at the MITRE Corporation, McLean, Virginia. This one-day session is designed to focus on a rapidly emerging management issues in the Federal government: the outsourcing of information technology responsibility to the private sector. Two morning panels of experts will provide their first-hand experience in implementing information technology outsourcing, both from a commercial user's view and from a Government perspective. The afternoon sessions will focus on outsourcing opportunities and challenges with overviews of the outsourcing plans of several key Federal agencies and a discussion about avoiding the ``minefields'' in implementing and outsourcing strategy.
