Hammond, Contracting Officer, 402 Scott Dr Unit 3A1, Scott AFB IL 62225-5302. Air ambulance service on an ``as required'' basis within the continental United States (CONUS) and near off-shore locations. Contractor shall furnish turbine powered, multi-engine, IFR equipped, pressurized, fixed-wing aircraft with medical staff. Both aircraft and medical staff must comply with technical specifications and standards prescribed by the Commission on Accreditation of Air Medical Services (CAAMS), and be accredited by CAAMS. Services will be divided into 3 regions; Western, Central, and Eastern. Service in the Western Region requires an estimated 13,750 Great Circle Statute Miles (GCSM) and 140 patient care hours per year, 18,700 GCSM and 204 patient hours in the Central Region, and 22,500 GCSM and 255 patient hours in the Eastern Region respectively.
