A response is requested from interested parties who would qualify and competitively bid this project if it were limited to Small Business Competition as defined by FAR 52.219. The project consists of constructing a 155,000 SF, post-tension parking deck for 535 cars on seven levels. Each level will be served by two passenger elevators; electrical power and signal for lighting; fire alarm and security monitoring. The exterior facade will consist of architectural pre-cast panels with fiberglass planters. Construction will include site demolition, steel or concrete pre-cast piling for the building foundation, soil excavation, backfilling and grading and certain other items --- Cost Range: Between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Bidders will be required to furnish performance bonds, bid bonds and representation/certification to comply with Small Business requirements. Only Prime/General contractors may respond. Replies shall be submitted as a certified letter stating that they are a Small Business Prime/Contractor who will bid the project and request that their name will be placed on the mailing list to receive the Presolicitation Notice. The replies should include the name and address, point of contact and telephone number.
