Work includes providing all material, equipment, supervision, and performing all labor necessary to remodel existing bathrooms and powder rooms in all three buildings. Remodel existing rooms in barracks 1020 and 1060 to relocate existing laundry rooms. Remodel laundry room in barracks 1040. New electrical grounding to new panel for remodeled bathrooms in 1040. Work for all of the above will include demolition, asbestos and some lead paint abatement. Removal of existing plumbing fixtures. New sewer lines will be provided for barracks buildings 1020, 1040 & 1060, with a new manhole at barracks 1020, and new rim on existing manhole at barracks 1060, and all incidental related work at MCAS, Yuma, AZ. This solicitation is not 100% set aside for small business. Standard Industrial Code is 1522. Small business size standard is $17 million. A limited number of bid packages, one set of specifications and half size plans, will be available and issued on a first come first serve basis. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Estimated bid opening date is 8 April 1996. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Agency.
