The work includes removal work, and the patching of spalled and
cracked concrete, repairs to aluminum jalousie windows and screens,
steel doors and frames, finish hardware, gypsum wallboard, painting,
elastomeric wall coating, resilient flooring, cultured marble shower
wainscots, building specialties, signs, vanity cabinets, plumbing,
ceiling fans, electrical work, and incidental related work. The work
also includes lead-based paint abatement, and PCBs will be encountered
during the removal of lighting fixtures. Estimated cost is between
$1,000,000 and $5,000,000. THE SIC CODE FOR THIS PROCUREMENT IS 1522
AND THE ANNUAL SIZE STANDARD IS $17 MILLION. For all construction
contracts in excess of $1,000,000, a Small Business and Small
Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting Plan is required by large firms
prior to award. Request for copies of this solicitation must be
postmarked not later than 15 days from the date of publication of this
