The project requires demolition of existing interior of the space and conversion of the space into a new postal facility in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the A/E, FGM, Inc. Work includes but not limited to demolition, carpentry, aluminum store front, roll down grille, wood doors, hollow metal door frames, dry wall, metal studs, floor tiles, vinyl base, paint, suspended acoustical ceiling, millwork, cabinet work, electrical, mechanical, and fencing. Construction cost range: $475,000.00 to $525,000.00. This is a leased facility and contractor must obtain building permit from governing authority. Evaluation factors in addition to price to be considered are as follows: (1) Owner's References (not less than 4); (2) Experience (not less than 3 years); (3) Satisfactory performance; and (4) Financial Stability. Plans and specifications will be available on or about March 5, 1996. Plans and specifications will be provided for a non-refundable cost of $30.00.
