Z -- SEDIMENT CONTROL STRUCTURES (SITES 33A-1 AND 33A-2), FORT HOOD EROSION CONTROL MEASURE, FORT HOOD, TEXAS SOL NRCS-3-TX-96 DUE 041096 POC Contact Point, Contract Section, (817)774-1221 Work under the project will include the installation of two separate sediment control structures, Site 33A-1 and Site 33A-2. Work for each site will consist of constructing an earthfill dam, excavated emergency spillway, and a corrugated metal pipe (CMP) principal spillway. Major items of work for the project will include approximately 73,600 CY of of Class C compacted earthfill; 19,950 CY of unclassified excavation; 124 LF of 24'' I.D. CMP; 13 LF of 42'' I.D. CMP; 136 LF of 48'' I.D. CMP; and 18 LF of 78'' I.D. CMP. Performance period is 131 calendar days. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Work is located on Fort Hood Military Reservation (Training Area 33) approximately 4 miles north of Copperas Cove, Coryell County, Texas.
