Invitation for Bids: IFB, and specifications will be available on or about 12 Mar 96 for project 96-5002, Replace Tower Windows at Minot AFB, North Dakota. Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, tools, equipment, materials and performing all operations in connection with replacement of all glass in three security tower buildings with bullet resistant glass. All glass and component systems must be able to withstand bullets fired from 7.62 NATO high-power rifles in accordance with MIL-A-46108A. Tower cabs are located approximately 45 feet above ground level. Work is in a restricted area and consists of a 45 day performing period. Project magnitude is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
