Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for (1) brand name or equal Disk Storage System 6600 which must be 100% compatible with existing Parity Raid Systems including rack and cabinet, (2) CMD CRD-5000 RAID controllers, (2) 32MB cache kits, RAID redundant con- troller fail over kit, (2) host computer adapters, (3) drive racks with hot-swap trays, (6) 9.0GB micropolis #1991 data disk, (1) 9.0GB micropolis #1991 parity disk, upgrade space for at least 4 additional drive racks, dual cables and terminals, upgradable to hold (10) 9.0GB micropolis 1991 data disk and (1) 9.0GB micropolis parity disk. Must be able to support 28 5.25'' or 3.5'' disk drives in RAID 0,3 and 5 configurations. Must be 100% compatible with existing government owned SGI Challenge L computers.
