The U.S. Department of Energy's SPR is requesting offers on its CAPLINE distribution facilities located in the State of Louisiana, consisting of three segments: Segment A - Weeks Island Pipeline--a 67.2-mile, 36-inch pipeline; Segment B - St. James Terminal and Docks with CAPLINE/LOCAP pipeline connections. The terminal dock facility includes a .60-mile, 30-inch pipeline tie-in to CAPLINE terminal facility and a .05-mile, 36-inch pipeline tie-in to the LOCAP facility; Segment C - Bayou Choctaw Pipeline--a 37.2-mile, 36-inch pipeline. Offerors are requested to submit proposals addressing the terms and conditions, sales price and/or rental fee structure, and a general description of the envisioned commercial operations.
