R -- TEMPORARY HELP SERVICES SOL DAAL01-96-Q-P001 DUE 031996 POC Lucy M. Escudero, Contract Specialist, at (505) 678-0697. The Army Research Laboratory is soliciting quotes for the procurement of temporary secretarial services. Individuals provided shall not be considered or treated as Federal Employees for any purpose. Contractor will be assigned tasks by Government Delivery Order(DO). DO will detail the number of days to be worked, the starting and ending dates, the location of the work to be performed and a point of contract and must be signed by the Contracting Officer. Government shall provide all supplies necessary for completion of DO. Contractor's employee must have a secret security clearnace prior to beginning work on a DO. Individuals provided must be citizens of the United States of America. The contractor shall provide an estimated total of 360 hours to 3,232 hours of secretarial support as required by the Government. Within 2 working days of receipt of a signed DO from the Government, contractor shall provide an individual possessing appropriate secretarial skills. Contractor's employees may work a minimum of 4 hours per day and maximum of 9 hours per day as called for on the individual DO. The length of each DO will not extend more than 45 work days. No one employee shall work under this contract for more than 45 work days in a 6-month period. Contractor is legally responsible for the individual. Contractor shall recruit, test, hire, train, assign, pay, provide benefits, and leave to, and as necessary, address performance problems, discipline and terminate the individual. Contractor is also responsible for payroll deductions, payment of income taxes, social security, (FICA), unemployment insurance, workman compensation, and shall provide any required liability insurance. Contractor shall submit monthly invoices for services performed. There will be no formal RFQ. The SIC Code is 7338, and the standard is $3.5M. Submit quotes in writing to the address shown above or via fax at (505) 678-4508 not later than 15 days after publication of this notice. Quotes shall indicate business classification, i.e., small, disadvantaged, women-owned, large. Price shall include per hour rate, applicable Federal, State, and local taxes and shall be FOB White Sands Missile RAnge, NM. Quotes ahall indicate payment terms.
