The requirement exists for the purchase of a Circuit Card Tester to provide Gold Flag Program for all C-5 Aircraft electronic components and support equipment. Technology is caled Analog Signature Analysis (ASA). The ASA works by applying a current-limited AC signal across two points of an electrical component. The current flow causes a vertical deflection of the Cathode-Ray Tube trace, while the voltage causes a horizontal deflection. The tester will be used to repair all XB3 and XF3 circuit cards. Components are TRACKER 5100DS, PROBER RP388, TRACKER 2000, EDGE CARD ADAPTER AND ACCESSORY KIT. The proposed contract is being considered as a ''Sole Source Procurement''.
