Frequency Modulation (FM) tunable discriminator designed to tune and demodulate any FM sub-carrier in the range 256Hz to 4MHz as well as demodulate standard IRIG channels. The unit shall accept all IRIG 106-93, mixed CBW and PBW multiplexes, IRIG tone groups, and non-standard CBW multiplexes. Unit must allow frequency deviations from 0.05 to 50.0 percent. Unit will allow the discrimination and demodulation of specific FM modulated signals recorded on an tape. Unit must have at least two analog FM multiplex inputs, allowing signals from two separate tracks from an instrumentation recorder to be simultaneously input to the for demodulation. Unit shall accept input signal(s) up to 4 volts peak to peak, having a maximum bandwidth of 4MHz, into a 50 ohm input impedance. Unit shall provide both analog and digital output and have an RS488 control port. Equipment will be designed for a laboratory environment, operate from 47-63Hz, 85-132VAC and be rack mountable in a standard 19 inch equipment rack.
