U. S. Army Construction Engineering Research Laboratories (USACERL)
requires subscription services for the Daily Environment Report. The
information provided shall contain a daily summary of all state,
federal, national, and international environmental news and information
generated daily pertaining to the following subject areas: water
pollution, environmental justice, air pollution, solid waste,
pesticides, drinking water, radioactive waste, polar regions,
government contracts, right-to-know, ozone depletion, trade, taxes,
spills, transportation, biotechnologies, wetlands, chemical safety,
federal facilities, congressional actions, daily federal register,
bills and resolutions introduced, hazardous waste, hazardous materials,
dioxins, forestry, recycling, natural resources, asbestos, energy,
endangered species, pipeline safety, nuclear safety, enforcement, risk
assessment, cleanup, new technologies, climatic changes, international
events, superfund, presidential calendar, joint committee actions,
senate & house floor actions, and public laws. Rights shall be granted
to the customer base of the DoD users from the Defense Environment
Network and Information eXchange (DENIX) bulletin board system for the
information to be freely copied, printed, and downloaded to a user's
remote workstation or personal computer. Information shall be provided
in SGML format by modem dial-up or file transfer protocol (FTP) via
the Internet on a nightly basis Monday through Friday, except holidays.
Access shall be granted for a period of one (1) year, beginning 27 Apr
96. USACERL intends to award a sole source purchase order to The
Bureau of National Affairs in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Request for
Quotation (RFQ) DACA88-96-Q-0163 will be issued on or about 15 Mar 96
with the closing date on or about 29 Mar 96. Requests for copies of
this RFQ shall be made in writing and addressed to USACERL, ATTN:
Contracts Office, P.O. Box 9005, Champaign, IL 61826-9005. There will
be no telephone requests accepted. Requests for solicitation package
