Kern, Phone (703)604-2119 The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) research & development (R&D) contract for a single, Measurement Hardware Emulator for Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) stations. NAVAIR is trying to determine the feasibility of replacing the following CASS measuring instruments: Digitial Multimeter (DMM), Frequency Time Interval Counter (FTIC), Waveform Digitizer (WFRD), Microwave Transition Analyzer and Spectrum Analyzer, with a single, Measurement Hardware Emulator. Interested parties shall submit competitive proposals to produce a proof-of-concept brassboard model (prototype) and technical/progress reports. If the concept is feasible, the Measurement Hardware Emulator may be incorporated into the CASS configuration baseline.
