Sources Sought- The U.S. Department of Education is planning to procure services for A Model to Forecast Earned Degrees by Fields. These services consist of developing a database of demographic and economic variables; specifying and building a model to forecast degrees by field to the year 2010. The NCES Modeling System is implemented in modeling software EPS for Personal Computers and the proposed enchancements will require data inputs from exiting components of this system, macroeconomic and demographic databases and from U.S. Economic Model. At this time the Department believes there is only one responsible source, based on the NCES Modeling System that was created by this source. the period of performance for this procuremnt will be 26 weeks.
