C -- OPEN-ENDED ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEER CONTRACT DUE 031196 POC Contracting Officer, Kathryn Ogilvie, (505)256-2719 Furnish Architectural and Engineering services for design and coordination of projects which may include but is not limited to architectural services, mechanical, structural, and/or electrical engineering services and/or Industrial Hygiene services as necessary and required to complete individual projects at the Department of Veterans (VA) Medical Center, Albuquerque, NM. The evaluation criteria for selection and contract award, in descending order of relative importance, are as follows: (1) Recent specialized experience of firm in type of work required,(2) Professional capacity of the firm to accomplish the contemplated work within the time and cost limitations,(3) Professional qualifications of the staff, sub-contractors and consultants to be assigned to the project, (4) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and Private Industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance and (5) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project. Area of consideration is restricted to firms located within a fifty (50) mile radius of Albuquerque, NM. Architectural Engineering firms which meet the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit a completed Standard Form 254 Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire and Standard Form 255 Architect-Engineer Related Services Questionnaire for Specific Project, not later than 03/11/96. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The proposed acquisition listed herein is hereby set aside for small business concerns only. SIC Code 8712. A firm fixed price contract will result from this acquisition. The estimated performance period of the resultant contract is one year with the option to extend for a period of five (5) years.
