F -- GOPHER TRAPPING ON EVALUATION PLANTATIONS SOL Sol. No. 7-96-R12 DUE 050896 POC Contact Point, 541/416-6534, Procurement Technician Project consists of eradicating pocket gophers with the use of cinch gopher traps. Contract will be awarded as a Requirements Contract. Delivery Orders to be issued as the requirement become known. The units have been previously trapped in the summer and fall of 1995. A minimum of 600 acres will be bid. Maximum quantities will be 1602 acres. Locations are on the Ochoco National Forest in Crook and Harney Counties and the Burns Ranger District of the Malheur National Forest. Baiting with strychnine alkaloid poisoned oats will not be considered as a treatment. Acreage includes a 100 foot buffer outside the perimeter of each plantation/orchard, excluding roads, which shall also be treated. Project is 100% set aside for small business concerns (0060)
