Barr, Contracting Officer, (314) 260-1206 Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for the removal of two 350 ton chillers, a 325 ton cooling tower and a 900 ton cooling tower, as well as, the installation of two 600 ton chillers and two 625 ton cooling towers. Work is to include the removal of the following: three condenser water pumps, two chilled water pumps, chilled and condenser water piping and valving. The following will be installed: two condenser water pumps, two chilled water pumps, condenser and chilled water piping, valving and energy management controls. Additional work will include the filling of a sumb area and related electrical work to connect the cooling towers, chillers and pumps to the existing electrical power. The work shall be performed by a mechanical contractor who has a minimum of five years experience in the installation of central refrigeration equipment. All work is to be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable DMA, EPA, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. The performance period for this project is 250 days. The contractor shall be required to perform a certain amount of work on premium time to eliminate disruption of Government services. The approximate cost of this project is between $500,00 and $1,000,000. This work is located at the Defense Mapping Agency facilities at 3200 South Second Street, which is east of Broadway and south of Arsenal Street in South City of St. Louis. SIC 1711.
