This announcement constitutes an addition to the Pre-Solicitation Notice that appeared in the CBD on 29 Jan 96. On 20 Mar 96, the Government will hold an Industry Day at the Virginia Air National Guard facility located adjacent to the Richmond International Airport in Richmond, Virginia. All prospective offerors are invited to attend. In order to accommodate all prospective firms (prime/sub), each firm desiring to attend must notify the Contracting Officer in writing (via letter or by facsimile 513/255-2108) with a list of attendees (name, address, & project title) no later than 1500 EST on 18 Mar 96. Note: Each firm is limited to four representatives. The Industry Day agenda will include a 0800-1130 program overview briefing/Draft RFP discussion and a 1230-1600 flightline display of representative pod system components. Any additional information concerning this Industry Day will be posted on the Wright-Patterson AFB TARS Bulletin Board located on the PIXS Home Page @ http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil. This office anticipates releasing the formal solicitation on or about 17 Apr 96. On 25-27 Mar 96, the Government intends to conduct one-on-one Technical Interchange Meetings at Wright Patterson AFB, OH with potential prime offerors only.
