In accordance with FAR 603-1, Rick Aviation is the only known source that can meet the government's minimum essential requirements of purchase, installation, and local maintenance of the Bendix/King weather radar/global positioning systems that require precision approaches under instrument flight rules for the Uh-60 A/L helicopters. The Bendix/King weather navigation system consists of PDR-2000 radar, 4081-VI radome and 4862-VI mounts. The Bendix/King global positioning navigation system consists of KLN-90B with KI 202 variable omni range indicator and 8800 apollo altitude encoder. Two separate systems are to be purchased and installed on UH-60A/L helicopters. An airworthiness release statement for specified UH-60 A/L helicopters equipped with the 12 station intercommunication system, and installation of the global positioning system and weather radar system is required and must be on hand. Firms are to indicate if they are a small business or small disadvantaged business concern as defined in FAR 52.215-1 and 52.215-2. Firms are also requested to submit information regarding their capabilities (i.e. literature, catalogs, brochures and airworthiness release statement) to furnish supplies that comply with the requirements of the government.
