This office intends to modify the currentcray-2 supercomputer contract DAAE07-88-C-Q001, to add up to seven (7) additional months of maintenance and Su pport services. Solicitation DAAE07-96-R-Q204 was issued on 08 Feb 96 for the acquisition of a replacement high performance computing (HPC) system to the Cray-2 system. Award and installation of the new HPC system is expected to occur in FY96. Until such time as the new HPC system is acquired and installed, continuity of services for the existing TARDEC Cray-2 supercomputer system is required. Interested parties must respond in writing NO later than fifteen (15) days after publication of th is motice indicating their ability to meet the requirem ents described herein.
