Zangwill, (301)443-5672 The Health Resources and Services Administration is soliciting proposals in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). In accordance with FAR Part 13, this procurement has been classified as a small business set aside. The purpose of this procurement is to assist the Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC), Division of Programs for Special Populations to identify and document successful HIV programs funded by BPHC that are providing a full range of services to HIV infected pregnant women. The contractor shall perform in depth site visits to seven BPHC funded sites based upon AIDS prevalence and the availability of AIDS specific health care resources. The seven case studies will determine the current and projected unmet needs, service demands, utilization patterns, cost of coordinating and providing comprehensive and support services for HIV infected pregnant women and their newborns. The case studies will also identify models of care delivery that are effective and that can be replicated in similar settings within the universe of BPHC funded programs.
