The Government intends to award a sole source acquisition for the continuation of technical support services under contract bridge contract DE-AC01-95EH89484 with Program Management, Inc. The period will consist of a 6 month period for an estimated 5,000 direct productive labor hours (DPLH) and two 3-month option periods for an estimated 2,500 DPLH. This acquisition is necessary to bridge the contractual coverage currently being provided while the competitive acquisition process is completed. The Government needs would be best served by avoiding piece meal competitions and continuing its plan to complete the evaluation under RFP No. DE-RP01-95EH89604 and competitively award the contract.
