Z -- REPLACE HALON FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS, FORT LEWIS, WASHINGTON SOL DAKF57-96-B-0016 DUE 072296 POC Contract Specialist JoAnna Black (206) 967-2151, ext. 248 (Site Code DAKF57) Principal items to accomplish are: Replace existing Halon fire suppression systems with pre-action fire sprinkler systems. All pipes and appurtenances shall be replaced per specifications and plans documents. The Halon bottles shall be packaged and shipped to a destination to be included in the specification. There are eight (8) buildings with this type of fire supression systems. These buildings are 9D1 (telephone room), 2003 (telephone room), 3087 (the flight simulator), 6071 (telephone room), 9040 (the new Army hospital), 9908 and 9925 (the old Army hospital) and 9190 (Special Forces building). Completion time is 365 calendar days. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement will be issued as unrestricted. Estimated issue date of this procurement is June 21, 1996.
