29 -- REPAIR TURBOCHARGERS SOL DTCG40-96-R-10022 POC Patricia Dobbins, Contract Specialist, (410) 636-4333, Nancy M. Dean, Contracting Officer, (410) 636-4367 Repair of Elliott Turbochargers -- The Coast Guard anticipates conducting negotiation with Elliott Company and its authorized repair facilities. Contract period of performance will be a base year with four (4) one (1) year options, for the inspection and repair of Elliott Turbochargers Models H 564 and BC370H used on Coast Guard 378 FT WHEC, and 110 FT WPB vessels. -- Total estimated quantity per year 19 each -- Contractor will provide all labor and material required to perform the following work on the turbochargers: (1) receive; (2) disassemble; (3) inspect; (4) provide a condition report; (5) repair; (6) reassemble; (7) test; and (8) preserve and install in a reusable shipping container. All efforts shall be in accordance with Elliott TurboMachinery Co., Instruction Book TC-30E, Shop Practice Manual SP-315A, Paxman Diesels Ltd., Instruction Manual 200.M6, dated May 1985 ''Elliott Turbocharger'', MIL-C-104B, MIL-P-116J, MIL-E-15090C, MIL-P-20087, MIL-P-24441/1B, MIL-I-45208A, MIL-STD-271F, and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994, dated 1994. In addition, contractors shall conduct all work and tests in accordance with Coast Guard Standard Repair Specification (SRS) 4331-R-251-52 dated 6/91, Rev.5, dated 10/95. All parts to be furnished and used with the repairs must be Elliott parts. -- Deliver F.O.B. Destination to U.S. Coast Guard Supply Center, Curtis Bay, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226 -- Delivery 45 calendar days after Coast Guard Approval of Inspection Report -- ''This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short term working capital assistance for transportation-related contract.
