ELECTRONIC DEVICES USED TO MEASURE AND RECORD RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND
TEMPERATURE CONDITIONS WITHIN MUSEUM EXHIBIT AND COLLECTION STORAGE
AREAS. The National Park Service (NIPS) is soliciting bids for the
purchase and delivery of specialized equipment to accurately measure
and record relative humidity and temperature conditions within museum
exhibit and collection storage areas to help preserve museum objects by
permitting correction of the museum environment to levels that prevent
damage. The contract will be issued for a one year period, with two
one year options to extend. Deliveries will be to National Park Service
areas throughout the United States and its territories. The equipment
to be purchased is as follows: Data logger, equivalent to ACR brand
Smartreader 2 dataloggers. The IFB will be issued approximately
February 28, 1996 and bids are due April 10, 1996. Requests must be in
writing and received at the address stated above. This is a total
small business set-aside procurement. The service industry code
assigned for this procurement is 3599. The small business standard for
