Panknin, Contracting Officer, (817) 288-9569 (Site Code DATM01) The Government intents to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to Competitive 8(a) Offerors for nonpersonal information management services to support the U.S. Army Operational Test and Evaluation Command (OPTEC) in its testing, experimentation, and evaluation mission. The contractor will be required to provide the personnel and material to render FIP support services in support of Information Mission Area (IMA) requirements. Support includes the configuration, operation and maintenance of (1) fixed site computer facilities and/or optionally mobile computer facilities and (2) a data communications network; hardware/software training; help desk operation; audio/visual support; data entry services; end-user equipment maintenance and property accountability. The period of performance is from 01 October 1996 through 30 September 1997, with provisions for four one-year options. Approximate issue date of the RFP is or or about 17 March 1996. Approximate RFP closing date is 30 April 1996. Telephonic requests for the RFP will not be accepted. Interested parties must submit all requests for the RFP in writing.
