John J. Stever, (703) 875-6085 (FAX) The Department of State, Bureau of
International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) requires
services for aviation operation, maintenance, logistics, and related
technical support services. The contract will be for one year with four
one-year options. The current fleet of approximately 60 aircraft
consists of the following types of aircraft: T-65 Thrush, C-208, Casa
212, and L-19D airplanes and B-212 and UH-1H helicopters. The
Contractor will work at government facilities currently located at
Patrick Air Force Base, Florida, in various program countries in Latin
America and possibly in other regions of the world. The primary
mission is to support eradication and interdiction of narcotics outside
the continental United States. The contractor will: 1) Fly mission
combinations that include day, night, night vision goggle, spray,
interdiction, transport, reconnaissance, search and rescue, medical
evacuation, and ferry; 2) Provide field level, base level and limited
depot level maintenance for program aircraft; 3) Provide material and
logistics support necessary to maintain the aircraft; and 4) Perform
various training functions. The Government intends to release the
subject solicitation on or about March 29, 1996. This requirement was
previously synopsized on February 23, 1995 under solicitation number
S-OPRAQ-95-R-0630. In order to obtain a copy of the solicitation, a new
request must be submitted. All requests for the solicitation must be
