Construction of structures & facilities. This acquisition in-volves the design, construction, manufacturing and installation of facilities and a targeting system, and two years plus two optional years of operation and maintenance of a multi-purpose range complex in the country of kuwait. The range is a two Lane maneuver & live-fire training facility for armor vehicles with each Lane having two assault trails & each trail having five defensive fighting positions. The down-range area is about 1400 by 4500 meters, and in-cludes a number of target lifting devices in selectively located pro-tective bunkers. The target lifting devices are integrated into acomputer controlled training system that can present diverse tactical training scenarios & quantify performance of the trainees. The uprange or administrative area is about 1400 by 580 meters, and in-cludes a control Tower facility & optional support facilities & space for contractor usage. The contractor would be required to deliver an integrated ''turnkey'' range. This range will be used by the kuwait Land forces to provide realistic live-fire battlefield training for avariety of training objectives utilizing Military armored vehicles. The Army is seeking sources that would be interested in performing this entire project. This is not a request for proposals.
