Time for completion: 165 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. No document charge or deposit is required. This project involves a total renovation of seven existing restrooms in Building 101 at the Federal Center, 4300 Goodfellow Blvd., St. Louis, MO. The work is divided into two phases; the North Stack (Base Bid), and the South Stack (Option No. 1). The work includes demolition, asbestos abatement, providing/installing new finishes, architectural woodwork, suspended ceilings, toilet partitions, ceramic floor tile and wainscot, doors/ frames/hardware, plumbing fixtures (i.e., auto flush valves, faucets, toilet accessories) and special flooring. The bidder, or subcontractor, performing the asbestos abatement work shall meet the competency qualification requirements as specified in Section 00120 of the specification, and provide bodily injury liability insurance coverage. Such coverage must encompass liabilities arising from work with the hazardous materials involved. The Government will not indemnify against such risks.
