The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Indianapolis intends to negotiate with Euclid Machine Co. Indianapolis, IN for 1400 Modified 58A164D569 Detents IAW ETL-AM-L-192 on a sole source basis. The Contracting Officer has determined that IAW FAR 6.302-1 Euclid Machine Co. is the only responsible source that can satisfy NAWCADI technical requirements and meet the required delivery of the initial lot of 350 modified detents within 45 days and remaining lots monthly thereafter. The detent is manufactured to high tolerance specifications to meet extreme environmental conditions. Use is on the LAU-7 Missile Launcher. The modified detent corrects a flight safety issue and Euclid is the only source with developed fixtures and tooling required. See numbered note 22. (061)
