States agency for internationaldevelopment, Federal Triangle building,
Washington, DC for approximately 2400 workstations. The panel system
must be a stackable tile and frame system. The frames must be able to
connect off-module. The system must have integral panel rails that
allow for the hanging of worksurfaces and overhead storage components
off module. The frames must stack from an approximate height of 36-44
inches to the ceiling to enclose individual workstations and must be
capable of supporting hang on componentry. The system must support a
continuous run of electrical power from ''on to off'' module
conditions. The tile and frame system must meetansi/BIFMA X 5.6-1993
requirements, E-84 (standard method of test for surface burning
characteristics of building materials, and applicable UL requirements).
Sources must have commercially available product and will be required
to perform product evaluation and demonstration. Responses not received
by the due date will not be considered for this acquisition.
Installation to be phased beginning October, 1996 and to be completed
