84 -- CLOTHING, INDIVIDUAL EQUIPMENT, AND INSIGNIA. DRESS UNIFORMS FOR MEMBERS OF THE U.S. SECRET SERVICE'S UNIFORMED DIVISION SOL USSS960003 POC Contact: Nellie A. Potocki-Reeves, Contract Specialist, 202/ 435/6940 The U.S. Secret Service's Uniformed Division has a requirement for male and female dress uniforms. The uniforms required under this action shall be similar in fabric and match to the uniform clothing currently in inventory as stock items. The uniforms will consist of the following items. Black Trousers and Blouses made of Raeford Style 8330-561 type fabric made-up of 55 percent Dacron polyester, 45 percent worsted wool, 13 to 13 1/2 ounce based on 60 inch width. Trousers will include Rice 7100-96 gold nylon braiding. White Shirts--Permanent Press Police Style Regular/Full Cut, 65 percent polyester, 35 percent cotton poplin, approximately 4.2 ounce per square yard, fast color guaranteed washable. Long and short sleeve shirts will be required. This procurement action is confined to the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. Samples will be required for evaluation and must be submitted at date of closing. Samples will be returned after evaluation. The U.S. Secret Service anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price Requirement Contract, which will include a base year and two (2) option periods of twelve months each with a total of thirty-six (36) months if options are exercised. This solicitation is intended as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Only written requests for this solicitation will be considered. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted.
