The Government reserves the right to award on any item bid in either category, or a combination of categories. In the event of award based on a combination of certified and non-certified seed, the total amount of seed purchased will not exceed the quantity specified. Awards will be based upon the lowest pure live seed (PLS) price offered for each item or a combination of items. Awarded dollar amount will be based on the bulk price per pound. Awards may be made on higher PLS price certified seed versus a non-certified PLS priced seed of the same variety. When a variety is not specified, the government may award on a higher PLS price based on preference.
