the U.S. Army to determine the existence of sources for the planned
effort described below. Point of contact is Maria L. Vencill, Contract
Specialist, ATTN: AMSMI-AC-CFHA, Building 4488. The Commander, U.S.
Army Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, as the AMC Executive
Agent for the management of Smart Weapons, has been chartered as
Chairman of the SW/PGM HTI Task Force (TF) to produce a plan for Smart
Weapons/Precision Guided Munitions (SW/PGM) Horizontal Technology
Integration opportunities. The SW/PGM TF is collecting technical and
programmatic data on weapon system requirements and materiel solutions.
Focus is on close combat, fire support, aviation, engineer and special
operations weapon systems for mobile force ground targets and
helicopters. United States and allied industry is requested to provide
information in existing format that may be of interest to the U.S.
Army in identifying potential horizontal technology integration or
vertical technology insertion opportunities. Information of fulfilling
specific or general assumed war fighting requirements/capabilities is
appropriate. All submissions should be based on a multiple use of
technologies. Those who responded to previous CBD Synopsis 0648-95 are
invited to provide updated versions of their data. Previous
submissions will be evaluated on an equal basis with those submitting
in response to this synopsis. Proprietary and classified information
will be protected as denoted with submission. Contractors submitting
information, including those with previous submissions, must be
available to brief 1,2 and 5 April 1996 at McDill AFB, Florida.
Personnel receiving the briefing will be members of DoD SW/PGM HTI TF
and supporting contractors. All SW/PGM HTI TF contractors receiving the
briefing will be acting in support of the SW/PGM HTI TF and will have
signed non-disclosure statements prior to the briefings. Submit
