addition, where applicable): Dietary supplement containing vitamin A
(HS: 2106.90). 5. Title and number of pages of the notified document:
Warning To Women Within Three Month Pregnancy or Who Expect To Be
Pregnant In No More Than Three Months On the Over-Intake of Vitamin A
(available in Japanese, 3 pages). 6. Description of content: Labelling
requirement for dietary supplement containing vitamin A to indicate
that women who are within three month pregnancy and who expect to be
pregnant in no more than three months should avoid the over-intake of
vitamin A. 7. Objective and rationale: To provide clear information on
labelling on foods (protection of pregnant women's health). 8.
Relevant documents: The basic Law is the Food Sanitation Law. The said
emergency measure is described in the Notification No.100 of the
Director of the Office of Health Policy on Newly Developed Food,
Environmental Health Bureau dated 26 December 1995. 9. Proposed date of
