F -- OFF-HIGHWAY VEHICLE SPECIALIST SERVICES SOL SOL RFP 96-115 DUE 041096 POC Contract Clerk (503) 383-5543 or FAX 503-383-5544 This project consists of providing Off-Highway Vehicle Specialist Services which includes but is not limited to assisting the Forest Service OHV Specialist or other Forest Service personnel in developing, operating, and/or maintaining the East Fort Rock OHV program. Services fall into two basic categories - social and non-social. Examples of social services are: making personal contacts with OHV users, performing education, assisting with law enforcement, and administration of Special Use Permits. Examples on non-social services are: patrolling trails and facilities, monitoring use levels, maintaining trails, and construction or reconstruction of trails and facilities. The East Fort Rock OHV project consists of approximately 318 miles of motorcycle and ATV trails covering 110,000 miles. Approximate start date is 05/01/96. Contract time is approximately 90 days.
