F -- NOTICE OF INTENT TO EXECUTE A DELIVERY ORDER AGAINST GSA'S UTILITY DSM BASIC ORDERING AGREEMENT WITH HAWAIIAN ELECTRIC COMPANY Contact point, Bonnie L. The U.S. Coast Guard, Civil Engineering Unit intends to negotiate and execute a delivery order under the General Services Agency's Basic Ordering Agreement with Hawaiian Electric Company, Inc. (HECO) in accordance with Public Law 41 USCG 253. This Energy Conservation Project is for renewable solar heating of domestic water at USCG Family Housing, Kia'i Kai Hale. Services will be provided on a shared cost basis to the government, incorporating subsidies offered and controlled by the utility company. HECO will provide facility energy audits at no cost to the government, feasibility studies, engineering and design studies, and all intial capital, labor, material, supplies and equipment. This action is authorized by Public Law 42 USCG 8256 as it constitutes participation in a gas and electric company DSM program. (064)
