The U. S. Postal Service intends to award indefinite quantity contracts (IQC) for real estate services for projects located in northern California, which includes the following counties: Alameda, Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, Contra Costa, Del Norte, El Dorado, Fresno, Glenn, Humboldt, Kings, Lake, Lassen, Madera, Marin, Mariposa, Mendocino, Merced, Modoc, Mono, Monterey, Napa, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, San Benito, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Tulare, Tuolumne, Yolo and Yuba. The contracts will be for two years, with individual work orders being issued. Each work order will be negotiated as an individual project. Work orders for any one project cannot exceed $100,000.00. The contract cannot exceed $250,000.00 for each 12-month contract period. The contracts may be renewed for three one-year periods providing the total contract amount does not exceed $1,000,000.00. The work will include, but is not limited to: site identification, preparation of feasibility studies, market surveys, property inspection reports, leasing of alternate quarters, and leasing built-to-suit quarters. The evaluation factors to be considered are, in descending order of importance: 1) Real estate experience based on a minimum of five years experience during the last ten years; 2) Staffing; 3) Favorable professional references. Firms which possess the qualifications to perform the services described are invited to request the solicitation package. There is a $10.00 non-refundable charge for the package. It is prohibited to pay any fee, commission, percentage, or brokerage fee to any person or firm contingent upon or resulting from award of a contract for these services. Participation of Minority Business Enterprise is a consideration in U. S. Postal Service real estate services selections. No other general notification for these services will be made.
